    Our Activities

    Skimmer Lab

    Intro to Engineering

In this activity, students will create a skimmer that will slide across the floor with ease if their measurements are accurate and their workmanship is exceptional.

    3D Playground
    Design & Modeling

Students will use computer software to create a 2D sketch of playground parts.  They will then assemble all parts into a 3-dimensional playground model.

    Brain Dissection
    Medical Detectives

Dissecting a sheep brain, students gain appreciation for the complexity of the brain.  Students make observations, while learning about the structure and function of brain regions, white, and gray matter.

    Green Dream House
    Green Architecture

Students explore architectural sustainability as they design affordable housing units using Autodesk’s® 3D architectural design software.
